I've been craving banana bread really bad lately. So last night I finally made some. And oh yes it is delicioso!! I know you're thinking I put poop in the one on the right but it's chocolate chips. :)

Bonding Time

Ethan told Stephen tonight that he needed to bond with him. So what better bonding activity for a father and son...PS3. They sat down and defeated some villains playing lego batman on the ps3. It was really cute.

A Day at the Lake

We were having a rough morning today and by that I mean that my daughters were driving me cRaZy. So, to save all our lives, we went out to get lunch and had a picnic at the lake in our neighborhood. It was really fun and it was the perfect day for a picpnic. Bailey got to try out her fishing pole that she got for Christmas. It's a Spongebob pole with Plankton as the bait so she got to practice casting it into the water. She even caught a fish!!! Well.....ok so she didn't really catch a fish but this nice old man that was fishing near us had caught one earlier and he kindly let Bailey take a picture with it so she could claim the glory. Maddi was really trying to walk right into the lake and didn't like that mean ol' mom kept saving her life. Man I'm boring. PS, I love having a lake down the street. :) hahahaha

Maddi's 1st Birthday

My little Maddison turned 1 today. I can't believe how fast this year went by. She really looks huge all of a sudden. We had a busy day today. Our friends' daughter, Brooke turned 1 about a week ago and they were celebrating her birthday today too so we had her party this afternoon and then Maddi's party this evening at Peter Piper - I didn't want everyone to have to drive all the way to our house and it's easier if I don't have to do any of the cleaning or cooking. We had a lot of fun. Maddi got to ride the rides in the arcade and she had her own giant cupcake to eat-even though she didn't really care to. I ran out of battery on my camera during the party, naturally, so I had to videotape the rest so that's why there aren't very many pictures. But here's a few of our day and our big one year old!

Skateboards and Bikes

Stephen has been making some extra money selling car parts online so he spent some on a new skateboard the other day. The girls love it! Bailey loves to ride on it and Maddi just flips out every time Stephen goes by on it. Then my mom knew someone who needed to get rid of a little bike so she put training wheels on it and brought it down for Bailey. She is really good at it too but Stephen won't go more than 3 inches from her while she's riding it. Captain Overprotective.

Maddi the expolorer

She's into everything now. I am dreading having to put the child proof things on the cabinets because I don't want to put holes in my pretty cabinets :( But I'll have to do it cause she's driving me nuts. She's so cute climbing into this one though. She always just climbs in there and hangs out til I find her.
