Home Sweet Home

WE BOUGHT A HOUSE!!! I can't believe it! We are going to live in Rancho Sahuarita. For those of you who don't know, Rancho Sahuarita is southwest of Tucson near Green Valley. It's a master planned community in Sahuarita with tons of builders. The house is so awesome and we love it!!

The community is really active with young families. There is a huge community center, a water park, tons of parks, playgrounds, pools, a gym w/ babysitting, kids rooms with x-boxes and gamecubes, toddler rooms, basketball/tennis/volleyball courts, and tons more. They do lots of community events all the time and there are even 3 wards down there. The house should be done in Sepetember-tentatively. It's the furthest I've been from home but I don't think I'll ever have to leave with all the things they have going on there.
Now if you don't mind, I have to go take some more buyers's remorse pills.

1st Swim of 08'

So we went swimmin over at Shelley and Mat's apartments the other day. It was super fun. Bailey was so excited saying, "bath," about the big pool/bathtub. It was hard to hold on to her because all she wanted to do was jump in by herself. She had so much fun with Makayla in the pool. Maddi was so pleased the first time Stephen tried to put her in. Then Shelley kept dipping her legs in and she got to lovin it...at least until she started shivering and then it was her time to exit. I can't believe I got my chubby trash in a swim suit, but it was worth it for my girls.

Finally

Ok, so I think I'm finally caught up. These are just some random pix that I've taken the past few months of the kids. Now that I'm caught up I'll most likely go another 3 months without posting anything because I'm lazy. Hopefully not though!

Blessing Day

We blessed Maddison on March 30th. Stephen gave her an amazing blessing that I know will bless her throughout her whole life. It was awesome. I had this horrible nightmare about a week before the blessing that no family or friends showed up and no one helped bless her but Stephen and our friend, Sam. I woke up crying. Thank goodness it didn't come true...we had lots of family there. We had family come in from out of town and stay over for lunch afterward. It turned out great. I am especially grateful that I have a worthy priesthood holder for a husband who has been able to give both our girls blessings.

Easter 08'

We colored Easter eggs with the kids and Makayla this year. It was a lot of fun. Ethan had never dyed eggs before! He thought it was pretty cool getting his fingers all full of dye. Bailey just splashed around making a big mess and Makayla was the pro. The kids woke up wide-eyed to their baskets. They were both very excited. Ethan especially because he had a 1 lb chocolate bunny that he got to start eating right away. Bailey's basket was actually a shovel and pale that she now LOVES to dig with in the dirt in the backyard.

Then we had an Easter day full of hunts. We did a quick hunt in the morning with just Bailey and Ethan because it wasn't our week to have Ethan on Sunday so we wanted to have a hunt with him. Then we went to Stephen's aunt and uncle's house for breakfast. We found out that they'd hidden 100 EGGS in their backyard for Bailey, Ethan, and their 1 yr old granddaughter to find. (Her name is Sophia and she is dang cute. She's the blond and tan one.) So they had fun looking for those there too! Then we went to church and had an awesome sacrament meeting full of music and Shelley and DJ were both there so that was really cool. Then after church we had yet another egg hunt at my mom's house with Bailey, Mak, Jordynn, and Alex. Needless to say, the kids had more than enough candy to last them for quite a while (except when I sneak some pieces for myself).

St. Patty's Day

Welp, we did absolutely nothing fun for St. Patty's Day. We just showed off our little Irish-looking girl...with her light skin, red hair and blue eyes. I had a softball game that night so Stephen had to muck through watching the girls without me. It's weird, every time he's by himself with the kids I get these anonymous text messages that I should quit playing softball or quit my job and stay home. I'm all for the quitting the job thing but unless we want to mooch of my mom our whole lives I have to work.

Maddison's Birthday

So here's my start at playing catch up. Maddi was born January 10th. She was 7 pounds 6 ounces and 19 inches long. She is beautiful and has brought us soooo much joy already.
