PS, I didn't think the girls really looked that much alike but looking at these two pix they look SO similar!

When Bailey was about the same age as Maddi is now she fell really hard and got this huge knot on her forehead. And in true child form she continued to hit it on things thus prolonging the visibility of the huge knot. Well Maddi did the same thing yesterday. She somehow ran into the wall and got a knot on her forehead in pretty much the same place as Bailey once did. Although it's not nearly as big as Bailey's was I thought it was funny to compare these pictures. I just hope she let's it heal before she bumps that spot again.

I finally figured out how to put a video on my blog! This is from our disneyland trip. We went on Gadget's Go Coaster in Toon Town and Bailey was really excited to go on it. Stephen and Ethan sat in front of Bailey and I so Stephen could record Bailey on her first roller coaster. Watch as she goes from happy and excited to sheer terror! So funny!

Stephen worked his little trash off this weekend and I'd like to let everyone know how much I appreciated it. He took Ethan out for some father-son time in the morning on Saturday. He cleaned out our garage of all the car junk and soda cans he's accumulated. Then, he and Ethan sprayed and scrubbed the garage floor so they could then paint it with this epoxy paint. The pictures below show the final result. This was all out in the 100 degree heat so he was pretty pooped around 2:00 in the afternoon when he finished. So he took a nap with the kids while I went shopping to spend my mother's day giftcard. Then, while I was gone, he vacuumed and picked up so that we could have people over that evening. Then he made us all dinner and played with the kids. And the next day he got up early to make me breakfast for mother's day before he had to take Ethan up to Marana to his mom. Anyway, if it doesn't seem like much, you're wrong, this is like a month's worth of hard work at home for Stephen all packed into 1 weekend. I love him so much and I've really needed his help lately so I appreciate it soooo much that he helped out the way he did!

It looks really nice and I think it's supposed to be easier to clean up oil spills and stuff off of.

Happy 3rd Birthday!

I can't believe my little girl is 3 years old!!! She is growing way too fast for my liking. For Bailey's birthday we went down to one of the parks in our neighborhood and played with friends and family and had a bbq. Bailey's wonderful cousin, Alexis, made her a "Cars" cake (she is obsessed with "Cars.") Bailey asked for a balloon and a whistle for her birthday. I fancied up a whistle and we had a Cars balloon especially for her. She was happy. All the other cars and trains and toys she got didn't hurt either, she loved her presents! I have a 3 year old, man I'm old.

Disneyland

We had a great vacation...even though Maddison was deathly ill for all but the last day and then I got sick and bla bla bla. We went and spent a few days with some friends in Murrieta first. Stephen and I got to go to the San Diego temple-it was awesome! That's the only other temple we've been to besides Mesa and it was really cool to see something new. We had a bunch of fun with them and then they came with us for our first day at Disneyland. We spent 3 days there and even though it was busy and Maddi wasn't feeling well we still had a bunch of fun. We scared the crap out of Bailey on Gadget's Go Coaster-so funny, we videotaped it. And Ethan got over his fear of California Screamin and he loved it-it's now his favorite ride. And Maddi really didn't care what ride she was on she just sat there with a bla look on her face the whole time. But she did go on a lot of rides. My wonderful mom put up with my family for 6 days and I commend her for it. (my regular camera is broken so we had to use our videocamera to take all our pictures and that was really annoying to get it out all the time so we didn't take as many pics as I would have liked but here are the ones we took.
