This morning Bailey woke up when Stephen got up for work. She was up a lot during the night cause Maddi kept her up so I told Stephen to let me put her back to sleep. He insisted that she wanted to get up for the day so I said fiiiiiiiiiiiiiine. So we went downstairs to eat some cereal. She kept saying she was cold so I helped her tuck up her legs into her t-shirt. I went over to the couch to work and 10 minutes later she hadn't moved so I kept calling her name. She wouldn't answer so I ran over there to see what was wrong and found her konked out in the chair.

Bahama Bucks
In case you didn't already know, we moved. We moved into our new house in Mesa a little over a week ago. We've been so busy with unpacking and cleaning and getting settled that we decided we needed to treat ourselves to some snow. My niece Makayla was staying the night with us so Stephen, me and all the girls went down to Bahama Bucks for some bahama rama mamas. In case you don't know it's the best shaved ice ever!! It's super finely shaved ice and a bahama rama mama has vanilla bean ice cream at the bottom and cream on the ice. They have a million flavors and there's one right near our house!Monday, June 29, 2009

I made this the other night and it was delish. My sister said I need to post the recipes that I like a lot so here it is. The chocolate gets pretty hard to cut after about 24 hours so go ahead and eat the whole thing the first day you make it.

Mt. Lemmon picnic
My family headed up the mountain today to hang out, play and have a picnic. My oldest sister, Jana, is in town with her boys for a week or so and she motivated everyone to go up there. Our driving chain leaders, who will not be named (Shelley & Cleve her boyfriend), missed the spot where we were supposed to picnic so after driving up almost the entire mountain we finally found a good spot. You can imagine the grump in Stephen's attitude after an extra 10 miles of mountain driving by the time we got there. But we had a lot of fun. The kids all enjoyed playing together and Bailey and Maddi really liked being outside and getting to run around without boundaries. We took some family pics and these are the few I got.
some other stuff today
Yes, it's hard to believe but Stephen actually helped the girls pick up these blocks AND HE PUT THEM AWAY!!!
