We had a grrrreat time at Bailey's birthday party today! Bailey requested a party at the park with a pinata and that's what she got!! (well she also requested a party at pump it up but we're too poor for that kind of stuff and this was much more fun!) We had great family and friends come over for playing on the plaground, a cakewalk for prizes, some pinata action, cake and presents. Bailey loved everything she got and we really appreciate everyone who came and especially those who traveled so far to see Bailey! Thanks again!! We'll be celebrating her actual birthday on Tuesday so pictures to come from that.

T-Ball
Bailey started T-ball!!! I can't believe I have a kid playing t-ball already. It's worth crying over. She started practices this week and her first should be in the next week or two. She has been dying to play every since she saw her cousins play in their games the past few weeks. We are lucky to have 3 nieces older than Bailey who have been generous in handing down their old mit, bat and cleats! Thanks Makayla!! Bailey has a cute pink glove and bat. When Mak was her age she was playing soccer so Bailey is wearing soccer cleats but hey, free cleats!! There are 3 boys and 3 girls on Bailey's team and it's very obvious who has played before. But super cute! Aside from Bailey throwing the ball to her coach backwards and between her legs she is trying really hard and we're so proud of her. She really loves to hit (of course) and she is very good at running the bases. (The coach tells her to run to first and she doesn't stop there, she goes for a homer every time) Here's some pix from her practices but we should have some pictures up from her first game soon.
Pretty much a professional

Easter 2010
We had a great Easter this year! We got together with a bunch of families the Friday before and had an Easter egg hunt and played Easter games at a park in our neighborhood. The kids had a lot of fun and Stephen is proud to have dominated the egg toss. He did regret smashing a confetti-filled egg on my head when I got him back with one though. :) We enjoyed watching conference on TV and then went to my mom's house for Easter dinner on Sunday. We had a delicious turkey and ham dinner that my wonderful mom made. The kids enjoyed spending time with their cousins and I just loved the cute rice crispy eggs I made for dessert! Then we had another Easter egg hunt with the kids. Needless to say they have more than enough candy than they know what to do with.

Sweet Deals
I've decided to try couponing lately. These are a few pictures of my deals from shopping tonight. They aren't my best deals ever but I figured I would brag anyway. A few weeks ago I got $95 worth of groceries for $39! That was probably my best yet. I also got my Toy Story and Toy Story 2 blu-ray/dvd combo packs for $6.99 each last week! PLUS they came with free movie tickets to see Toy Story 3!! So pretty much I made money off these movies! I know there are better deals out there but come on, I practically live in Mexico so I gotta work with what I've got. I've got to start getting the Sunday paper...

At full price this would have cost $85.16 but I got it for $38.67. (This was at Target) Note my cute shopping companion!

Follow the Prophet
Today Bailey spent the morning pushing her stroller around the house while she sang, "Follow the prophet, follow the prophet, he knows the waaay..." It was worth crying over. She is so good at memorizing. Especially songs. I hadn't taught her this song yet so it lets me know she is paying attention in primary too! Bailey has always wanted me to sing songs to her before she goes to bed at night. She used to make me sing every single song I knew before she'd go to sleep but now I limit her to just 3 songs. Sometimes she suckers me in for second verses though. I just love this girl and I love that she already knows to follow the prophet!
